As I posted earlier today, sentencing finally occurred in the case of Robert Hawkins, on charges of corruption of minors and child endangerment, based on an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 17-year old female student and supplying her with alcohol and marijuana. This morning at 10:59, the sentencing hearing of Robert Hawkins began. It was a lengthy affair, with some victim’s impact statements being read, some testimony about letters which had been submitted on behalf of Mr. Hawkins by other teachers and some students.
